« Worship »

Congregational Meeting: We will have a congregational meeting on February 24th to vote on the 2019 budget. Full budget details are available in the office for your inspection.

New CE Option: We are beginning a pilot run of a second CE option, starting in April. The vision of this class is to be a continuation of the fellowship in the quad, a time of prayer, and a diving into a popular Christian book or DVD series. The vibe of the class will be similar to a living room setting small group/adult fellowship feeling. Stay tuned for more details!

Open Positions: We have openings for Presiders & Praise Team Members (esp. bassists, sound, PPT). Training will be provided! Please prayerfully consider if you can serve this church and her members. For questions/concerns, please email SaLT.

Pray with Us: We meet for fellowship through prayer Tuesdays from 7:30-9:00 PM in the church library, and joint with the Mandarin congregation the last Tuesday of the month in the Fellowship Hall.

HHI Frisbee Tournament: Hope Harvest International is hosting a Frisbee Tournament to raise funds for missions. The tournament will be hosted on May 11th at Robb Field in Ocean Beach. The entry fee is $200/team. All skill levels welcome! If you’re interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Louis (pastorlouis@harvestsd.com).

College Drivers Wanted: We’re looking for more drivers to drive our college students to & from their respective college campuses. For more information, please contact Etienne (college@harvestsd.com).

Membership/Baptism Class: If you are interested in taking the membership and baptism class, please contact SaLT for more information. Attending this class does not obligate you to become a member or to get baptized.

Encouragement Hearts: Encourage someone today! Encouragement hearts are located in the back with our Welcomers and are collected at the end of service.

College Rides: If you need a ride back home or to UCSD campus, please sign up under the "Need Ride" column on our rides whiteboard! Departure times are before CE (around 11:15 AM) or after lunch (around 1:00 PM). On the other hand, if you have extra room in your car and want to volunteer to drive people, please sign up under the "Rides Available" column.

Community Events 2019: Planning for our community event series is now in full swing! They will be hosted on the last Saturday evening of each month on our Harvest campus, unless otherwise specified. For more information or to RSVP, please contact SaLT. Our tentative schedule is:

  • 2/16 - Paint Night (Limit 15. Child-friendly, free material & instruction)

  • 4/06 - College Activity Night (More details coming soon)

Summer Tijuana Missions Trip: We’re planning a trip down to Mexico Caravan Missions this summer, from June 23rd to 30th. Activities planned include: house builds, sessions with missionaries, and visiting the local orphanages & churches. Financial assistance is available! To give in support of building expenses, or to support our world missions efforts, please put “Building Fund” or “Missions Fund,” respectively, on the memo line of your check. Undesignated giving defaults to the General Fund. You can also donate online at harvestsd.com under the "Online Giving" section; funds will go to the area of greatest need as determined by the church council.
